Where Technology Meets Real Opportunity

SW Academy DC is a community-driven, tech-forward program equipping youth with in-demand skills through structured classroom training, professional development days, and weekly field trips. Our Ambassadors don't just learn — they lead.

Through our Senior Help Desk, Ambassadors provide hands-on tech support to seniors, bridging generations and expanding digital access. Through our Social Media Team, they transform digital platforms into powerful tools for storytelling, marketing, and community engagement. This is a paid summer experience built on mentorship, skill-building, and real-world impact — creating a pipeline of young leaders using technology to drive opportunity across Washington, DC.
